Football Stadium in the Philippines?

Hey Ya!!! This is what's good in the international hood! Yes, that's true- following up to the statement that this country has been thoroughly westernized. I wouldn't say thoroughly but it has, and it is indeed, yet still with its own uniqueness. Ranging from the music industry, movies, etc. the Philippines is definitely on its way up there... in this area that is. Check out the full article here.


I'm definitely looking forward to this, considering I was talking about soccer/football not too long ago, remember? Although I'm not in the position to partake in this event and be in exactly the same place, I am in a place where I can support it. FIFA rocks but thats foreign- thanks to them we're having the stadium! But let me tell you this is what rocks-- PFF, Philippine National Football Team a.k.a. AZKALS (derived from askal, asong kalye meaning street dogs) Yeah dawg! I'm excited beyond measure that finally soccer definitely has its official tag in the Philippines! And I'm sure many of my previous colleagues are ecstatic right about now! I don't blame them- this makes me want to go home myself and play!!! I can just say... It is after all my country.

And by the way, I suggest that they should also promote American Football out there! (lol) It's football!!! It's wicked fun stuff!

And for my people out there... "Iba talaga ang Pinoy!!!"
